| Optometrists
are vision specialists who prescribe and provide patients' optical prescriptions,
eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision therapy. In addition, optometrists
detect, treat, and manage eye diseases. Optometrists may prescribe medications
to treat ocular infections, inflammations, allergies and diseases such
